Still, I couldn't pass up this item. It seems this Texas gentleman has been stealing air conditioners and using his bike as the getaway vehicle.Newsome was alleged to have stolen a two-ton air conditioner condenser unit from the Greenville Community Health Service Agency on May 2. An individual with the organization spotted Newsome and another man riding away from the building on Wesley Street on bicycles while carrying the air conditioner.
Did you catch that? A two-ton condensor carried on his bike? I hope to God he was riding one of these:

A two ton compressor is the amount of cooling the unit can do, not how much it weighs. In HVAC-speak a ton is 12,000 BTUs or in this case, a 24,000 BTU compressor -- about the size of one of those Hitachi units (smaller than your mom's, probably).
