Well, now... you'd think someone would have done the math
The City of New York has started to take cyclists seriously around issues of making the city more bike-friendly. (God knows, it's not even car friendly.) To that end, they launched the summer with a massive project to install hundreds of new bike racks on city sidewalks, particularly in Brooklyn.
Well, but... Houston, we have a problem.

Well look at those chintzy-ass bolts those things were bolted in with. Brainless morons. Is that what most bike racks are bolted down with?
That's a good reminder to only lock to solid things.
