The snow-trike

I've had a hard time getting real excited about the various snow-bikes people have put together in recent years. The acme of this ennui is probably that silly bike with the snowmobile-style track in place of a rear wheel.

Sure, it looks like something out of Dr. Seuss's Green Eggs and Hammer Gel, but fun to ride? Gotta think NOT.

Now someone has put together more of a ski-trike, and though this video makes it clear that the BMX piperiders are having fun, would a normal God-fearing rider who values his collarbones as if they were made of gold -- would a rider like that -- like me -- really find this thing fun?

Also, how the hell did they get these things on the chairlift?

My question is WHO lets them put them on the chair lifts? Most ski areas won't allow sleds and other non ski/snowboard devices. Maybe europe.

Check this one out, not as sketchy or as freestyle-y as the "trike," but maybe more bike-like. Check out the dicey cliff-band hucks too!

hang the seat on the chair betwixt your legs, if it goes it might take you with it as you are teathered. Did it at heavenly LT, great way to spend an afternoon. Bring your homebuilt to SBCIH on Sat.
