What's the opposite of the "peak of civilization"?

Whatever it is, we're pretty sure it's some sort of bicycle.

We saw this thing tied to the top of a car in Cable last weekend. It is quite possibly the ugliest and least necessary thing ever built, aside from the Lefty fork.

However, we can't think of a better soundtrack in the public domain, so crank it up and maybe burn some sandalwood incense.

By the way, when we see this "revolutionary bicycle innovation" on our morning commute, we'll eat our messenger bag.

You know, sometimes a fantasy should stay in your head, otherwise it can turn into an indecent exposure charge. This is especially true of boutique bike builders.

remember back in the day when the bike industry likened itself to the automotive industry? And Interbike was a showcase for for a bunch of industrial design nightmares(i.e. concept designs that never saw the light of day)? I distinctly remember GT, or maybe it was Diamondback, coming to show with something weird akin to this thing.

What's with the giant disc under the handlebars? That music is amazing, I think they'll have better luck selling the soundtrack to porn studios than they will selling the bike.

buhuhu... to people who are saying that is a crap. Don't like the soundtrack, turnoff the sound, but look at the concept man. I tell you, this is the bike of the near future... I would like to have one right now, but it seems that is just a working prototype. I hope they will work to mass-produce the bicycle...

It's cool how Pink Floyd is helping out with the soundtrack for their vid. "do you remember when we were young? you shown like the sun..."
