A real kick in the ass for cyclists

You know Vibram: They are the waffle-sole manufacturer that has tramped all over the world's streets and paths but been forever banned from gymnasiums and tracks. In recent years, they've strolled into the cycling world, landing on the bottom of several brands and models of shoes, like Lake and Shimano.

But now they're working with Selle-Italia on the most important point of cycle-cyclist contact: a mountain/freeride saddle. This is somewhat poetic, because Selle-Italia does to our ass what Vibram does to the parquet floor. When we think of that old yellow Flite still perched on the singlespeed, permanent scarring is the phrase that comes to mind.
