If there is anything dumber than a triathalon bike, it's a spinning bike

But still.

We were poking fun at George Hood the other day. He's the Chicago dude who was attempting to set a new Guinness World Record for a continuous endurance ride -- on a stationary bike. We received word today that Hood did, in fact, set a new record, breaking the old one of 80 some hours. He tacked on another 29 hours, and that's pretty impressive... even if it was on a stupid, vulgar stationary bike.

To be sure, it's not the coolest bicycle record in the Guinness annals. This is.

Don't know how many people are regularly challenging this guys record: 60 KM in 5 hours riding a bicycle backward and playing the violin. Sweet!
