Tour de Stooge

We know there are a few races going on locally in the 612 this Saturday -- Elk River for the dirteaters, scAvenger for the urban hipsters, for starters -- but we're awfully jealous of folks in Central Illinois who have the 10th annual "Tour de Stooges." It's a race with five different courses, an all-you-can-eat buffet, and a Three Stooges film marathon.

The ride, in its 10th year, has about 35 Stooges films to watch, all from Kramer's personal collection. Four of the films — "Men in Black," "Whoops, I'm an Indian," "Three Sappy People" and "The Three Troubledoers" — feature the Stooges on bicycles built for three.

The only thing that could possibly make this better would be a sundown campfire singalong with Iggy and the Stooges.
