One-Cheek Sneak: Ow... Ow... Hurts to ride like this...

Not sure if this was lost in translation or not, but Danilo Di Luca managed to win yesterday's stage of the Giro with a skronky bum, after crashing on roads that he described as being like soap.

"For more than half an hour, I wasn't feeling good after the crash," he commented. "I was suffering really. My arse was sore. I had to get pain killers."

But the peloton's favorite pain-killer is, of course, no longer available without a prescription or a lynch mob.

Also this: Danilo Di Luca? "Very humble"? We were still in the chianti & fetuccini tent, but we doubt Di Luca was "very humble."
