Sucking up the Big Hits of the stock market
Not a lot of bike companies are public. Shimano is one of the few, and that company trades on the Tokyo stock market.
Yesterday, though, Fox Factory sold itself to a publicly held equity investment group called Compass Diversified Holdings. That doesn't have quite the ring of "Fox Shox," but if you're looking to own a piece of the company that owns a piece of the company that produced all those nifty truck decals, then you can find them on the NASDAQ at "CODI."
Me? I'm saving up for a new Talus before I worry about owning some of their paperwork.
