Some have said touring is the Next Big Thing. Others have said unicycles. Still others suggest that singlespeed cyclocross will be the fad of 2008.

But these San Diego kids are already on top of the real cycling hoolahoop for the coming twelvemonth.

Riding brakeless, gearless, and freewheel-less -- well, the next obvious frontier is riding tireless!



This should appeal to all the nitwits who justify riding fixies on the basis that they historically predate geared bikes with freewheels. After all, pneumatic tires didn't come on the scene until 1888.
