Art pour l'Art

While we sit in disbelief staring into our empty mini-bar here in Miami, further up the Eastern Seaboard, in New York City, David Byrne has posted a nice bicycle tour of Manhattan. from his bike-event of a couple weeks ago. (Let the lovely wallpaper-music run while you watch the video -- it's a nice, unintended complementary soundtrack to Byrne's sanguine narration.)

We love Byrne, and we hate cycling in New York, so this should net out to be an experiential zero -- but it doesn't.

To clarify: Cycling in New York is like a one-hour dry-humping session, no matter what your destination, unless you're willing to throw your mortality to the wind and ride like the messengers ride.
