What's our problem, anyway?
You might have noticed what seemed like a lackadaisical publishing operation today, where you've come to expect a crisp, constant barrage of delightful repartee. We were having a hell of a day, which involved a soggy commute in pouring rain, a cranky laptop, and an inexplicably overloaded network at the public library -- which is closed on Mondays.

Just thought you might like to know. Speaking of the public library, we're no longer officially banned from the internet there (something about that "hellsexy dynacrap" motto they didn't like), so thank goodness for that. Librarians were undoubtedly tired of all the long faces and grousing and the idle loitering of grown men in knickers, with grease on their fingers.

Does a brisk rain not invigorate you?

I love a brisk rain. But steady pin-like sleet that never cools you down? After four hours in that shiz (long morning ride)... heck, after three days in that shiz... I was feeling a little waterlogged.

One of my sisters lives in Pikeville, Kentucky, where the paper is called the News-Express. For a while, their website was www.newsexpressky.com but depending on how you parse that it might read a bit funny and it was blocked at the local high school where "New Sex Press KY" caused many a titter, and possibly even a guffaw. It's now www.news-expressky.com and safe for the young 'uns.
