My God, what was that noise? Wha?

Yesterday we were joking about the fellow who got a $500 citation for ringing his bike bell.

Well, here's the device you want if you're looking for a noise violation on your group ride: a 115-decibel horn mounted on your handlebars:

The frame-mounted "Thunder Horn" claims to emit a 115-decibel auditory assault, which Technabob says is the equivalent of "standing in the front row of a Metallica concert." Brando, its Hong Kong-based manufacturer, warns not to use it within 18 inches of your ears to avoid permanent injury.

We've always said there's nothing uglier than a self-righteous cyclist. So stop flying the bird, and start honking this sucker. You could consider it your personal censorious "bleep" button the next time some road-rager is insulting your mother.

And it's only $12!
