People die on bikes every day, and it breaks our hearts. But when messengers get run down -- well, that seems somehow even worse, because they're the rock stars of Pinch Flat Nation. It was almost exactly a year ago that the last bike messenger was run down, in New York.

Please be careful out there, young messenger. And don't be a stranger.
