Ride your bike like an American, dammit!

Down in Myrtle Beach, those damn furriners are running roughshod all over the road on their cockamamie two-wheeled contraptions. So the authorities have printed up pamphlets in three languages, to help them, you know, assimilate.

In their home countries in Europe, Latin America and the former Soviet Union, bicycles rule the road. But in Myrtle Beach, the rules are different. To help bicycle-riding international students and new residents stay safe on the road in Myrtle Beach, the city has produced pamphlets in Russian, Spanish and English that explain the laws of the land.

One could make a strong argument that the Good Citizens of Myrtle Beach who were already there and comfortably installed in their automobiles should receive this pamphlet as well, but it might have to be translated into the language of Cranky Xenophobic.
