Happy ending: They shoot bike thiefs, don't they?

Here's a heartwarming story about a man getting his stolen bike back--by trolling Craig's List and posing as a buyer.

Before the scheduled 11 a.m. meeting, Van Fleet called the Portland police nonemergency line to alert them to what was "going down." Days earlier, he had reported his bike stolen and had given police its serial number. Van Fleet still had his receipt from his purchase of the bike 12 years earlier in California.

That's pretty astonishing.

Even more astonishing? Dude was trying to get $200 for a hot 12-year-old Novarra with an RST fork. And the owner was trying to dicker him down to $180. That should have tipped the thief off on the spot!
